Meet Dr. Tim Bitner

Education and Experience

I was born in Omaha, Nebraska and lived all around the world, including England, while my dad was in the Air Force. We eventually made it back to Utah where I went to school at Bear River High. Soon after gradating, I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in Belém, Brazil while speaking Portuguese.

Upon returning home, I married my high school sweetheart, Carly Jo, in the Brigham City Temple. We both attended Brigham Young University where I graduated with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science.

I then attended the University of Utah School of Dentisty where I recieved my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). After four years of intense training, I was accepted into the Orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota. At the completion of those two years of specialty training, I earned my Master of Science (MS) degree and a Certificate of Orthodontics.

After 10 years of higher education, we returned home and I worked as an associate orthodontist for Dr. W. Clark Andersen for three years when the practice was known as Edge Orthodontics. After his retirement in July of 2025, I purchased the practice and changed the name to Bitner Orthodontics.

Beyond the Practice

Carly and I have been married since 2013 and we have four beautiful children: Kinley, Liam, Gracelyn, and Paisley. Our fifth child is our Mini Goldendoodle, Remi. We enjoy camping, dirt biking, duck hunting, and Bear Lake family reunions.

A fun fact about me, on social media I am also known as "Mr. Rice Guy." I create art out of color-dyed rice and throw it in the air while recording in slow motion. Check out my vidoes on YouTube, TikTok, or Instragram where I have over 4 Million followers and subscribers combined!
